Great website and articles! I like the focus on self-care. I was a homeschool mom for many years while my children were growing up. We used different curriculums such as Abeka, ACE, and Christian Light. There were times when we did feel a little isolated and wished to get out with other families. We did a lot of our own field trips. Some of the best times were getting out in nature, as stated in your article. There were several times that we went hiking and explored nature while collecting specimens for special projects. We often used our nature time for more learning out in the real world. If we could not, or didn’t want to go camping at a park, we would camp out in the woods on our own property. Your website will be a great place for the homeschool parent to access great supports. My 4 children are all grown now and homeschooling their own children. I will share your website with them.
